About me

I am a skilled and dedicated photographer shooting for fun only, as I have a day job sponsoring my ordinary life. I am based in Copenhagen but also travelling in Europe – mainly Italy.

In a time with billions of daily snapshots my dedication is to make artwork which can not be done using phone cameras. This involves flash or various exposure techniques which I have developed the last 10 years, trained others in using and is still developing. As always shooting is what happens in front of the camera – not the camera.

A photoshoot for portraits is normally 1-2 hours for the portraited in front of the camera. This includes breaks and various settings. To some shootings I will include a MUA or an assistant.

I have access to studio facilities in Copenhagen as well as on-location gear. I am dedicated to generating a relaxed and trustful atmosphere with the person in focus – not stressing with technical equipment. I have to master the technics to focus on the collaboration with the person being portraited.

I do the mostly TFP (my Time For your Prints) shootings which mean the portraited uses the time – and I deliver 6-8 photos in a professional quality for your own use and hence I also let you select some pictures you prefer to be processed.

Before the shooting session I prepare a contract, which set the clear terms for the use of the pictures. This is about trusting the artwork will not be used in a non-comfortable manner for you.

Normally I let the portraited persons post on SoMe, I am here but not very active on SoMe. Unless otherwise agreed, I use the pictures for my portfolio, photo contests and exhibitions etc. in a non-commercial way.

Interested in a shooting – let me know here….
